Job DescriptionThe Personal Lines Client Service Agent performs the essential functions of the position, which includes aiding clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts. Applicant must meet service delivery standards and performs essential functions to the quality and standards developed by the agency. Key Responsibilities: • Assists, Informs and educates clients about policy coverage, billing, changes, and overall needs. • Produces binders, certificates, evidences and other related items. • Renews policies following agency standards; verifies each renewal • Reviews policies; verifies accuracy and facilitates corrections, as needed, between client and carrier. • Verifies endorsements and facilitating corrections when necessary. • Processes incoming email, mail, phone requests, responding promptly and appropriately. • Processes and follows up on cancellations requests to with clients and carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution. • Actively seeks referrals from current client base. • Assist or completes other tasks as directed by agency management.
Job Requirements• College education or Technical degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in property and casualty or Property and Casualty license required within 2 months of employment. • Professional communication skills with others to explain issues along with the ability to receive and interpret the information and respond appropriately. • Professional, committed and self-motivated with the ability to focus on daily tasks. • Familiarity with Applied Systems Epic is a plus but not required. • Proficient with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel.
