Job DescriptionJob Summary In order to continue to provide exceptional customer service and aggressively grow our customer base, Wisco Insurance Company is looking for highly motivated, hard-working and experienced Insurance Producer/Account Manager. This opportunity is a dynamic role that incorporates sales and service through continuous relationship building with current and prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have proven sales abilities, an outgoing personality and a leadership mentality. This candidate will be an integral part of the growth and sustainability of the company. Job Responsibilities • Support CSR with accurate and timely customer service through customer inquiries and changes, when needed. • Provide prospects with quotes for multiple different insurance products and carriers through cross-selling and prospecting techniques. • Identify insurance needs and suggest/sell relevant insurance products. • Maintain a high level, professional consultative sales approach with a strong desire to help and support our clients. • Follow-up on referrals, leads, and in-coming in-person and phone inquiries to obtain information to provide a detailed insurance analysis. • Support agency projects in the community • Back-up Agency Support Specialist with payment processing and other office needs. • Provide reports to management on prospecting, cross-selling, and other related items as requested. Essential Functions Mental: • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information in an understandable and relatable way. • Must have the ability to learn and retain a significant amount of information pertaining to products and companies we represent. • Must have the ability to research relevant market and competitor trends. • Must have proficient computer skills and the ability to learn multiple different online quoting platforms. • Must be extremely organized, detail-orientated, analytical, and interdependently manage workload expectations in a timely manner. Physical: • Must be willing and able to work at the office during a 5 day schedule, overtime, weekends, holidays, and additional hours beyond scheduled shift to cover vacancies. • Must be able to work partially outdoors and indoors.
Job RequirementsEquipment Needed: • Must have the ability to obtain a driver’s license • Must have reliable transportation • Must have strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, as well as other office equipment. Minimum Requirements • High School Diploma Required • Advanced degree preferred • Wisconsin Property & Casualty Insurance License Required • Wisconsin Life Insurance License preferred • IL licensing a plus Experience: • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the insurance industry (sales-specific) • Experience with personal and commercial insurance, as well as basic life insurance understanding • Experience with money handling • Experience with networking in professional settings preferred • Public speaking experience preferred
