Jon Strom Named Stony Steinbach Award Winner for 2025

The Stony Steinbach Achievement Award is presented each year to a PIA of Wisconsin member who embodies the same energy, efficiency, and enthusiasm that its first leader brought to the organization for more than forty years.

It’s one of our most meaningful honors — not just because of what it stands for, but because it’s voted on by peers. It’s truly the voice of this association saying, “We see your work. We appreciate it. And we thank you.”

This year’s winner is Jon Strom, who served as president for most of 2025 and led a revamp of our annual ENGAGE convention that brought more agents, carriers and vendors to the event than we have seen in recent years.

In his sixth and final year of service on the PIA of Wisconsin Board of Directors, Jon now serves as Immediate Past President and continues his relentless focus on growing the association by making more valuable connections between people in the insurance industry.
