Craig Verhagen Is 2026 Company Representative of the Year

At the Annual Awards Dinner during the PIA Engage 2026 Conference, Craig Verhagen of Progressive Insurance was named 2026 Company Representative of the year in recognition of his exceptional commitment to independent agents, strong industry relationships, and leadership within the insurance industry.

The Company Representative of the Year is selected by the PIA Board of Director and recognizes a company representative who goes above and beyond to support independent agents and exemplifies outstanding service and dedication to the insurance community.

With more than 20 years of service at Progressive, Craig has built a reputation as a trusted partner, mentor, and advocate for the independent agency channel. He has a clear passion for helping agents grow their businesses, which has produced remarkable results. His work in developing programs has helped two Wisconsin agent networks become Progressive’s two largest producers nationwide.

Additionally, Craig is known for his approachable personality and willingness to help others. He has an outstanding ability to build meaningful relationships with agents and colleagues alike. Whether offering guidance or developing new opportunities for agency growth, Craig has earned the upmost respect of those he works with.
